PROJECT: Foreign Qualification Recognition Survey for Government of PEI

  • Highlights: Worked with project lead “Atlantic Evaluation Group" for an employer survey to assess internationally-trained workers in PEI.  Carried out French portion of survey, and assisted in administering survey.

 

PROJECT: Recommendations on crowdfunding for atlantic canadian small businesses

Project: Design and implementation for Knowledge Based resources toolbox for the Atlantic Provinces

  • Highlights: Part of a three-year Atlantic-wide project. The goal of the overall project was to increase small businesses integration into the knowledge economy. Helped prepared survey/administer to 200+ companies. Developed resources toolbox to reflect needs identified in online platform.

 

Project: Survey and Business plan for Maritime Rideshare

  • Client: Maritime Rideshare
  • Year: 2012

  • Highlights: Participated in the development and administration of a survey to assess interest in the Maritimes for a “ridesharing” service. Includes market validation component with the potential users of the new service. Helped write and develop business plan, which eventually led to deployment of ridesharing service: http://www.maritimerideshare.com.

Project: Destination Canada Labour Recruitment/Market validation

  • Client: Government of PEI
  • Year: 2009
  • Type: Public
  • Highlights: Worked as consultant for “Destination Canada” - largest Canadian job fair in Europe; assessed labour needs on PEI; validated with various businesses and industries to know the need; operated informational kiosk and delivered presentations to 3000 foreign workers. Completed a report/recommendations on future labour recruitment endeavours.
